In cooperation with our stakeholder agencies and organizations, the Butler County Emergency Operations Plan has recently undergone its 5-year review and update. The new plan has been approved by the Kansas Division of Emergency Management (KDEM) and was formally promulgated at the December 13, 2016, meeting of the Butler County Board of County Commissioners. In its approval notice, the State of Kansas affirmed that this EOP complies with the Kansas Planning Standards and also meets all requirements for compliance with SARA Title III and NIMS.
